Copsefield B&B - country home with old-fashioned ambience

Copsefield Bed and Breakfast is situated in a piece of paradise and is a perfect location to make your base on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Being approximately 2 hours distance to Auckland Airport, Copsefield Bed and Breakfast accommodation makes an ideal choice for your first stop heading in the Coromandel direction.

Our guests appreciate the relatively short drive and arrive in time to spend their first day unwinding from their travel in readiness for their Coromandel exploration. Or, alternatively, make Copsefield Bed and Breakfast your final stop with a few days of relaxation while taking in the beautiful Coromandel attractions.

Set in a peaceful and tranquil rural setting of 3 acres of gardens, grounds and orchard, the backdrop to our home is exquisite native fauna and farm land with the Wharekawa Stream at our back door.

Our breakfasts and dinners consist of home-grown produce from our garden and orchard and, when available, fresh fish from the ocean or stream, caught by Wayne, whom you are welcome to join on a fishing excursion. If required, we can prepare a 3-course evening meal, by prior arrangement - a great way to end your day without the need to venture out if you choose not to.

Just 5 minutes away is Coromandel's pristine Opoutere Beach, a magical and hidden gem and a haven of native bush, rare dotteril birds and unspoilt beach.

All of the Coromandel Peninsula attractions are within easy driving distance and you can be as busy or as relaxed as you choose. A walk down to Cathedral Cove then a dip at the Hot Water Beach thermals can be topped off with a relaxing glass of wine in our spa pool under the beautiful Coromandel night sky. Alternatively, a walk into the Puketui Valley, a residence of gold miners in 1914, will allow you the choice of many walking tracks varying in time and distance while taking in the wonders of nature. Guided tours of the Coromandel region can also be arranged.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing our paradise with you, and we will happily assist you with any of your travel and administration requirements.
